How To Do A Coffee Enema At Home

It was a sluggish thyroid, constant craving for sugar and carbohydrates that lead me to stumble upon the holy grail of natural detoxes, the Coffee Enema Liver Detox

The caffeine in coffee dilates blood vessels and bile ducts to increase the bile flow which contains toxins. It opens capillaries and relaxes muscles that are normally tight thereby releasing bile that is filled with your body’s toxins.

People have all kinds of ways to do their coffee enema and I probably have tried all of them but I’m going to stick with the Gerson protocol because you can’t go wrong when you follow the instructions of the person who first brought it into the mainstream.

Step By Step Instructions

A). Purchase An Enema Kit

There are Bag and Bucket options. I use the bag version and don’t have any problems with it, but people seem to love the bucket kind as well.

B). Next, you need to buy some premium Organic Ground Coffee Beans

I prefer certified Organic Green Coffee best and I recommend this type because it’s gentle, not harsh and is produced from select green coffee beans of the highest quality, certified organic cultivation subjected to strict quality controls. I also take Activated Charcoal before to bind up any said toxins left floating around in my bloodstream.

You should do your Coffee Enema Liver Detox after a bowel movement, so you can retain the coffee for longer. If you can’t and end up needing to use the toilet while doing your enema detox it’s okay. You can do that and start over with what’s left, make more or wait and do another later.

Mornings are best for most people but the afternoon is fine. You just don’t want to do it at night until you are able to pinpoint the best that is right for you considering caffeine can give you a boost of energy that could keep you awake.

How To Prepare The Coffee

1. Use a Stainless Steel Pot with lid (do not use an aluminum pot) at least 65 oz.

2. Add 3 heaped tablespoons of your ground Organic Coffee in the pot.

Note: if you are new to this you can start out with less coffee. Anywhere from half a teaspoon on up if you find the recommended amount is little to much in the very beginning.

3. Add 32 ounces of Distilled or Filtered water to the pot.

4. Bring the coffee and filtered water mixture to a boil for 2-5 minutes.

5. Put the lid on and turn the heat down and simmer on low for 15 minutes.

6. Take it off the heat and let it cool to body temperature.

You can test this by placing a clean finger into the coffee, it will be neither hot nor cold.

7. Strain through a Stainless Steel Mesh Strainer into a clean glass-pouring jar

The Actual Protocol

Take it with you to the bathroom with your strained coffee and set up a space that is comfortable for you to lie down on. You want to be near the toilet and use an old towel in case there is leakage.

You will be here for 12 to 15 minutes so you might want to grab a pillow, reading material or music unless you enjoy the peace and quiet as I do.

Now, assemble your enema kit according to directions and make sure you have a place to hang it about 3 feet above the ground. A towel rack or shower rod will work great.

There will be an attachment near the nozzle that allows you to stop or start the flow of coffee once you have poured it into the bag or bucket. Make sure this is in the ‘off’ position before pouring the coffee into the bag.

Once the coffee is in the bag or bucket hold the tube and nozzle over the sink and turn it on to allow the coffee to run through the tube until there are no air bubbles. Stop the flow once you know there are no bubbles left.

Use Organic Coconut Oil, vegetable oil even Vaseline & apply it to the nozzle tip generously.

Lie down on your RIGHT SIDE and pull your knees as close to your chest as you can get them. Relax, and then insert the nozzle till it’s about 1 inch inside the rectum. Turn on the flow of coffee slowly until the bag or bucket is emptied. Take your time with this and let your body get used to it. Then, take the nozzle out.

Continue lying on your right side, and don’t be surprised if you hear some funny noises from your stomach, this is a good sign and just means the bile is being stimulated for release.

Try to retain the enema for 12 to 15 minutes. This the time it really helps if you are able to do a bowel movement before you start.

You may feel some strong urges to go to the toilet, especially the first few times you try this but try to hold on for as long as you can. You might feel sensations and a little cramping which is normal and should pass with deep breathing. The more often you do a Coffee Enema Liver Detox, you will find that your pelvic muscle gets stronger and you will be able to retain the coffee for longer. 15 minutes max is all you need before you head to the toilet to release. When you are all done, you can clean your supplies destilled white vinegar or peroxide and mild soap.

How Often Should I Do them?

The frequency and duration varies and depends on the afflictions they are being used for. There are cancer patients that do them up to 3-5 times a day with a special healing diet, but for the average person starting their healing journey:

You can do a back-to-back, series each day for a week. After that, you can taper off to 2-3 per week for the next 3 weeks. Then you go to a maintenance schedule, which means you would do one only when you’re feeling a bit sluggish. I do want to add you can make enough to last a couple of days, 3 at the most and keep it in the refrigerator with the lid tightly closed.

Just double or triple the amount you use when doing one to save time. Just as with anything else, make to sure to check with your doctor or health professional especially if you are dealing a chronic illness.  Thank you for reading my article.

Happy Healing.
